Throughout the year, Sewell dedicates time, care, and funds to community projects as appreciation to the Permian Basin. Over the past several years, Sewell has raised millions of dollars for charity and worked 5,000+ community service hours.
Dine and Donate Week
Sewell’s Annual Fight Against Breast Cancer
Each year, Sewell gears up to raise Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Our team members work to help ensure women receive mammograms and resources for follow-up testing Tor those already in the fight to overcome breast cancer.
We raise awareness, money, and community support by wearing pink, hosting our week-long Dine and Donate Event where 100% of the proceeds go to Pink the Basin, hosting a Lady’s Dinner for team members, and participating in sponsored 5ks and other events.
The Big Serve
650+ Volunteers, 1 Misson: Make an Impact
In 2009, the Sewell Family of Companies turned its annual Christmas party into an opportunity to give back to our community.
Sewell’s team of volunteers, which includes team members and their families complete various service projects in the community during the holidays.
Volunteers help with construction at places like High Sky Children’s Ranch, cleaning at places like Harmony Home, and other projects that many nonprofits wouldn’t have the time or manpower to complete without the help of volunteers.
Angel Fund
Spreading Christmas Cheer
After a year-long donation from team members to the Angel Fund, Sewell makes it possible to provide families in need with gifts and opportunities to enjoy the season.
Company volunteers receive a list of families from social workers, then shop for each family and wrap all gifts bought with the donations.
Thanks to the compassion of Sewell team members, recipients across the Permian Basin have received love and support during the holiday season.
Sewell Leadership Event
Premier Leadership Events in West Texas
Sewell has hosted the premier leadership event in West Texas since 2006 and has provided the opportunity for over 20,000 people to hear from some of the greatest speakers in leadership. Hosted by the Sewell Family of Companies, the event is tailored each year to address the current climate of West Texas.
To teach about leadership in West Texas is an opportunity to lead by example. 100% of ticket sales are donated to local charities to support the community we aim to grow.
